Timber Builder

Timber Builder company members undertake to comply with all ITC-SA rules, code of conduct and MOI, in addition to undergoing routine compliance audits by ITC-SA appointed independent experts to ensure that all relevant standards and regulations are met.

Prerequisites of membership

Company applicants in the Timber Builder category must demonstrate competence and capacity to construct compliant timber buildings and have a valid NHBRC membership.

Application requirements
  • Owner/Key individual details & ID document or passport
  • Company details and copy of registration documents, vat no
  • Proof of a valid registration with the NHBRC
  • Proof of construction experience - details and supporting photos of three houses or timber structures designed and constructed in full compliance with SANS 10082 and all other applicable legislation, regulation and SANS.
