A workshop on selected aspects and practical experience of using European timber in South Africa will be hosted at 2pm on the 14th of February 2018 at the Hout Bay House in Cape Town. The workshop will cover sustainable building and share examples of how modern timber products have been used in South Africa and discuss future projects.

Michal Popov will discuss technical solutions for wooden cladding and Eliska Overhofnerova will address the subject of wooden cladding in South Africa’s climate conditions. Finally, Jiri Oslizlo will highlight Novatop projects in Cape Town.

The Cape Institute for Architecture has assessed and validated this Category one CPD activity and it carries 0.25 CPD credits.
